Staged - 3 Unit development

This project required more than just construction; it required a creative pathway to completion. The client owned the land for a three-townhouse site but needed a non-standard approach to manage financing.

 

We structured the build in two distinct stages. Stage one involved building the first townhouse to occupancy. This allowed the owners to refinance and unlock the capital needed for stage two—the construction of the final two homes.

 

Our role extended beyond building; we managed the complex logistics of titles, split contracts, and permits to facilitate this unique process.

Furthermore, our Design Management expertise was used to refine the plans for greater efficiency. The use of recycled bricks sourced from the surrounding area ensures the three new townhouses have a timeless character that respects the Thornbury streetscape.

 

It’s a perfect example of our commitment to finding a way to get the job done, no matter the obstacle.
